An influencer is someone that motivates their audience to take action.

Anthony is a video marketing strategist for authors, influencers, and entrepreneurs. He handles small jobs himself and works with contractors on larger jobs.

As soon as LinkedIn put native video on their site, Anthony put up a video resume for himself and has gotten clients and job offers from that.

  • Caption your videos
    • Rev.com does captions, but you have to place the captions in yourself.
    • iPhones have an app called Clips, an autotext feature which will generate captions for you.
  • For LinkedIn, start by making a one-minute video of what you’re passionate about and what you know. Do it regularly, and once you’re comfortable with it, scale from there.
  • Conference, group, or event: World Economic Forum
  • Build relationships with influencers in your field

Reasons people fail with video:

  • They don’t start
  • People think they need the best equipment
  • Conference, group, or event: World Economic Forum
  • They fear not knowing what to say. Think of it as having a conversation.
