IN TODAY’S EPISODE YOU’LL LEARN:
An influencer is someone who makes people take action.
Daniel has a business, KPS Digital Marketing, with his brother helping small to multinational-sized businesses generate leads through social media and video marketing.
After graduating from college, Daniel worked for about a year with a large company in London, then decided he wanted to start in own business. He went traveling around Thailand and started building his personal brand. Then he began doing digital marketing coaching.
KPS’s strategy is to build Daniel’s personal brand, get leads, and offer training and management in social media and video.
Daniel prefers doing live video because it’s more fun when you can get the audience’s feedback immediately.
A mistake he made in the past: Daniel used an automatic ‘bot to reach out to influencers to read his latest article.
Daniel’s goal is to eventually be able to just do all of the things he enjoys — speaking, creating videos, writing content.
- Be patient and stay consistent with your video content.
- Mix up your video content
- Use video to show that you’re getting more knowledgeable in your area of expertise
- Book: Crush It by Gary Vaynerchuk
- Influencer: Gary Vaynerchuk
- Conference, group, or event: Social Day London
- Preferred social network: Facebook
- Tool that you can’t live without: HubSpot
